Marine GPS/GNSS antennas are designed specially for marine GPS/GNSS positioning and navigation equipment that requires usually a fixed mount or flagpole mount with a longer connection cable. To avoid the signal transmission loss through the cable, marine GPS/GNSS antennas are usually an active antenna with more powerful signal amplifying circuit in the antenna. So, the housing of marine GPS/GNSS antennas are also much bigger.
